Dino offers a special wine night every Wednesday. You get a flight of three specially selected wines & enjoy an Antipasto Trio to accompany the wines, all for $25 per person! We will have a different wine theme each week. You can take a wine tour of Italy on Wednesdays at Dino.

Wine Wednesday May 14: - A Piemontese Trio! - Barbera & Dolcetto
The three main grapes of the area around Alba in Piemonte, home to
Barolo & Barbaresco are Nebbiolo, Barbera & Dolcetto. Tonight we will pick a single winery. Masolino, and show
off the differences between the latter two grapes. But what will be clear
is how the house style sings thru!

Wine Wednesday May 21: Cabernet etc
While super Tuscans ahve become famous &
expensive with their cabnernet based grape blends, cab and its
relatives are grown widely in Italy. Tonight we will have some fun
examples of wines based on cabernet, cabernet franc & merlot.
While Bordeaux is home of some of the worlds worst wine values, these
wines tonight will pack a great wallop of drinking pleasure for the
buck!

Wine Wednesday May 28: Dolcetto
Dolcetto is one of the three main grapes in
Piemonte. Dolcetto translates as little sweet one but it is not a
sweet wine at all. Instead it is a very fruity red bursting with
flavors. This is the every day wine that makes of Barolo drink! It
can be made in a wide variety of styles and our trio tonight will show
off this versatlity!

Wine Wednesday June 4: Barbera
As much as we would love to
drink Barolo & Barbaresco every day, even the Piemontese do not do
this. Their every day drinking wines are Dolcetto & Barbera.
Today barbera is a hot bed of exciting winemaking. There is a wide
variety fo wines offering great values. Tonight we will ahve a hard
time picking just 3 for your pleasure!

Wine Wednesday June 11: Lambrusco
For those of you who
love our prosciutto & buratta {and you know who you are!}, I can
think of no better wine to drink than the fuzzy red Lambrusco of the
Emilia region of Italy. These are fun wines that make your prosciutto
and other traditional food just tste better. So forget Aldo Cella {a
NY oactor anyways} and Riunite {something I never see for sale in
Italy} and taste the real deal!!!
