Feast of the Seven {more or less} Fish

Feast of the Seven {more or less} Fish

December 15 'til December 24
Opening at 4:30pm December 24

In Italy, one typically has an all seafood dinner on Christmas Eve, but it is not generally known as the "Feast of the 7 Fish".  Every town has its own traditions as to what is included.  Somehow, when the Italian-American communities of the North East created their own traditions, the Feast of the 7 Fish was born.  Of course you are likely to see the Feast of the 10 or 13 fish as well, but we will use the most famous name!  This is one of our favorite Italian celebrations of the year!  We celebrate with our own style of the feast, offering a combination of modern and traditional dishes, all served family style.  The cost of the 5 course meal is $49 per person {kids $20}.   There will be an optional wine flight of 4 wines plus dessert wine for $35.

I won't guarantee that we will use only 7 fish in the meal, but there will be at least 7 "fishy" treats served communally (if you order both entrees).  With our serving only sustainable seafood {and none of it frozen}, the final menu is always up in the air until we get our availabilities from our vendors.
Since we are serving family style, we ask that everyone at the table order the feast.  Kids can always order off the kids menu if they wish and pay their age {up to 11 years old}.  If you reserve via Open Table, please indicate in the special requests box that you want the feast so we spend enough time fishing! Christmas Eve only, we will be asking for a credit card number to hold reservations to avoid the problems we had last year of 30 people simply not showing up on one of our busiest nights of the year.
In addition to the 7 fish, we will have our regular menu available.  On Christmas Eve, we will open early at 4:30pm
