Wine Wednesday

It is hard to believe that we are now 5 years old! When I think back to all the mistakes, all the blunders we have made in our journey to today, it is amazing that we are still here. But the one thing we never did, no matter were we were in our development and financial needs, was to compromise our vision. Every time Dino faced a tough times, and there were many, we could have started to cut corners and use conventional solutions to gain ground. But that was one change I refused to countenance at Dino. I would rather close than compromise my love of non-industrial, responsibly-farmed, good for the environment foods, as tasty and as simply presented as we can.

We have weathered the great economic crash, Snowmaggedon, the credit crunch {we are about to pay off a bridge loan that kept us alive but at an interest rate that would make Shylock blush!} and the general learning curve of opening our first restaurant.  Whenever things looked bleak, we turned to our friends on our email list and they have always responded with their support. 

To celebrate our first 5 years, in addition to our regular menu, we offer two tasting menus of 4 courses plus a welcome glass of prosecco for $45. From July 5 thru July 17, we will offer a Venetian Tasting Menu , and July 18 thru August 1, we turn to Montalcino. We hope you join us once, if not twice, to enjoy our food. Plus every night of July, we will have open cellar treasures: bottles of no longer available wines for us to share with you as you enjoy your special meal! 

While we have always made a big deal of our birthdays at Dino, this one is the one where a real celebration is warranted.  It wouldn't be the same without you!
